As a Steward you are there to help check that Only Paying Public
take advantage of the Festival Site
Professional Security, On-site Police Officers and St John’s Ambulance look after any
problems that may occur ~ and you may have to liaise with them

What Chagstock Festival Provides
If you agreed to Steward Chagstock Festival you will be given
a wristband allowing you access to the Arena and its Entertainment
We provide Tea, Coffee & Squash whenever you off duty
We provide one small meal a day … at a time you are not working
All other food you will have to provide/find for yourselves
We provide Training via Team Meetings Before your First Shift ~ (Which you must attend)
We provide Hi-Visibility Jackets for your safety
We also go out of our way to enable you time off with friends and the opportunity to see a particular ‘Act’ … (Where it is requested)
For those Stewards staying on after the Saturday Performance we have an
AFTER EVENT GET-TOGETHER

What We Expect In Return
You will have been given Shifts based on the information you provided
in your Application when he Online Application is posted
You must he prepared, available and agree to work approximately
three and threequarter hours each day ~ at the times allocated to you
You should wear suitable clothes to protect yourselves during Dartmoor weather
(It can get cold & wet)
While on duty Stewards must not drink alcohol or smoke
Stewards will be expected to behave in a manner that promotes
Chagstock Festival as a Family Safe Entertainment
Finally ~ as a Steward You Agree to the Following
* You must he prepared, available and agree to work approximately Four Hours each day
in return for a Two Day Ticket
* Volunteers will be responsible for bringing their own camping equipment (Camping is free)
and making their own travel arrangements
* While on duty volunteers must not drink alcohol or smoke when working with the public.
(Anyone found on duty under the influence of alcohol
will forfeit their free festival pass and be asked to leave the site)
* Stewards will be expected to behave in a manner that promotes Chagstock Festival
as a Family Safe Entertainment
